About Roblox DevEx Calculator

The Roblox DevEx Calculator converts your Earned Robux to USD using the current Developer Exchange (DevEx) rate of $0.0038 per Robux — so you know exactly how much your earnings are worth in real money before cashing out.

The Roblox Developer Exchange (DevEx) program lets eligible creators convert their Earned Robux into real-world currency. Knowing the exact rate, the 30% marketplace fee, and the cash-out minimum is essential for any developer planning their monetization.

DevEx is priced per Robux, not as a "Robux-per-dollar" ratio — this is the single most common mistake people make. The current new rate is $0.0038 USD for every Earned Robux, which means 100,000 Robux converts to about $380 USD. Robux earned before September 5, 2025 cash out at the old rate of $0.0035 per Robux ($350 per 100,000). There is also a special US 18+ rate of $0.0054 per Robux for eligible in-game spend from adult players in the United States. Our calculator lets you switch between all three rates.

Only "Earned Robux" can be exchanged through DevEx — Robux you purchase directly from Roblox cannot be cashed out. Earned Robux come from selling game passes, developer products, clothing, and other items, or from engagement-based payouts. To use DevEx you must be at least 13 years old, hold an active Roblox Premium membership, have a verified account in good standing, and pass identity verification.

The 30% marketplace fee applies before DevEx. If you sell a game pass for 1,000 Robux, you receive 700 Robux after Roblox's cut. Those 700 Robux then convert to roughly $2.66 USD at the new rate. Toggle the marketplace fee option in the calculator to see your true net earnings — this is the number that actually matters for pricing your products.

The minimum cash-out is 30,000 Robux (lowered from the previous 50,000 and 100,000 thresholds). At the new rate, 30,000 Robux is about $114 USD. The calculator shows whether you meet the minimum and how far above or below it you are, plus a monthly projection so you can plan recurring income from your Roblox games.
